Privacy Policy

Shldon is built to observe group discussions and return useful next moves. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices people have across global markets.

Last updated: June 28, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Shldon websites, waitlists, early-access rooms, product workflows, and related communications. “Shldon,” “we,” “us,” and “our” means Shldon and the team operating the service.

2. Data We Collect

  • Contact and access data: email address, display name, invite links, waitlist requests, support messages, and beta participation details.
  • Room content: discussion topics, messages, participant names, timestamps, sharpness settings, Shldon observations, generated next moves, and related room activity.
  • Usage and device data: pages viewed, actions taken, approximate location from IP address, browser, device type, referral source, diagnostic logs, and error data.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: cookies or local storage used for security, product analytics, remembering preferences, and improving the service.

Do not submit passwords, payment card data, government identifiers, health information, legal files, trade secrets, or other highly confidential content unless we have a separate written agreement that allows it.

3. How We Use Data

  • Provide, operate, secure, and improve Shldon rooms and observer outputs.
  • Create invite links, manage room participation, and show room activity.
  • Respond to requests, send access updates, and provide product support.
  • Measure activation, reliability, conversion, and product-market fit.
  • Detect misuse, prevent abuse, enforce our Terms, and comply with law.
  • Develop safer and more useful product behavior using aggregated or de-identified signals.

4. AI Processing

Shldon uses AI systems to analyze room content, surface hidden assumptions, and generate observations or next moves. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for a particular context. You remain responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to use any output.

We do not use private room content to train public foundation models unless we obtain permission, de-identify it, or aggregate it so it no longer identifies a person or a specific room. Some trusted service providers may process room content only to provide the service.

5. Sharing

We may share data with:

  • Participants who have access to the same room or invite link.
  • Infrastructure, hosting, analytics, email, security, and AI service providers.
  • Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and legal authorities when necessary.
  • A successor or acquirer if Shldon is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, or asset transfer.

We do not sell personal information for money.

6. International Transfers

Shldon is intended for a global audience. Data may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate transfer safeguards such as contractual commitments, vendor due diligence, and technical protections.

7. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as reasonably needed for the service, beta operation, security, analytics, legal compliance, or dispute prevention. Early-access room data may be deleted or anonymized when it is no longer needed for validation or product support.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict use of your personal data, object to processing, withdraw consent, or appeal a decision. California residents may also have rights to know, delete, correct, limit use of sensitive information, and opt out of sale or sharing where applicable. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To exercise rights, contact privacy@shldon.com. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards for an early-stage product. No service is perfectly secure. Please use Shldon only with content appropriate for the current beta stage.

10. Children

Shldon is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as Shldon evolves. If changes are material, we will provide a reasonable notice through the website, product, or email.
